Mikel Arteta’s side beat Crystal Palace 2-1 before eventually lifting the trophy in front of thousands of jubilant travelling supporters. There was a slight wait before the celebrations officially began, but the atmosphere inside the away end never dropped for a second.

Arsenal fans were bouncing throughout the afternoon and spent much of the game singing about the heroes who delivered the title.

Declan Rice gets a brand new song from Arsenal supporters

Rice has quickly become one of the most loved players at Arsenal since arriving from West Ham.

The midfielder’s leadership, mentality and consistency have made him one of the biggest reasons why the Gunners are champions again.

Supporters have adored him from almost the moment he signed, and his original chant has already become one of the loudest songs at the Emirates Stadium.

However, while the players were preparing to lift the Premier League trophy at Selhurst Park, supporters came up with a brand new version in the same tune.

The updated chant was: “He said it’s not done, he said it’s not done, Declan Rice, he said it’s not done.”

The song references a viral clip from earlier in the season when Rice told Martin Odegaard “It’s not done” after Arsenal lost what many people believed was a title-deciding game against Manchester City.

At the time, rival fans mocked Arsenal heavily and assumed the race was over.

Rice, however, refused to give up, and now, his words have become iconic because Arsenal went on to win the Premier League title anyway.

In previous years, difficult moments sometimes damaged confidence and allowed pressure to creep into the squad. This time, things felt completely different.

Rice played a huge role in that because he constantly projected belief, leadership and calmness even when Arsenal faced setbacks.

That viral “It’s not done” moment perfectly summed up his mentality.

While everybody else was panicking and assuming Manchester City would cruise to another title, Rice stayed focused and kept believing Arsenal could still do it.

Now, he has proven he was absolutely right.
