Rupert Lowe has delivered a scathing critique of the UK’s Ministry of Defence (MOD) during a recent parliamentary hearing, highlighting significant concerns regarding financial mismanagement and fraud within the department. Lowe’s assessment follows a report revealing a staggering £1.5 billion in financial leakage, which he argues does not account for all the losses occurring within the MOD. In response, Jeremy Quin, the Minister for Defence Procurement, acknowledged the seriousness of the concerns raised.
