I don’t know about you, but I get sick to the back teeth of listening to MPs in the House of Commons who are quite rightly pointing out major problems within our country only to be shouted down or booed or or just completely dismissed out of hand or or the actual problem diverted off somewhere else.

It happens all too often. And also when you look at the house when these statements are being made, hardly any buggers in the place, it really is a disgrace. And you wonder how our country’s got the way it has. And you wonder how our system of government still manages to go on, still still manages to function. I’m going to play you a video here, and this is where uh you know, you’re going to hear a very telling statement about what’s going on.
And right at the end is the uh reaction to it. So without further ado, let’s tune in and have a listen. >> Ky l shadow minister. >> Thank you, Mr. Speaker. We must be honest about the fact that while violence against elected politicians can come from a wide variety of groups, the single biggest extremist threat to our country remains the threat of extremist Islamist violence.

Before she goes on, I just want to make a comment. She’s saying uh you know violence towards politicians um you know is a problem. What you are seeing in this country is a very big and growing disconnect between us and them. the end of the day if you look at the history of uh you know the commons the commons is the people’s chamber it’s my chamber it’s your chamber that that’s what it was supposed to be represented by one of our number and it’s been hijacked if you have a look at the 1911 Parliament act for example they were warned at the time
that if you pass this you will create a completely separate political class and from that point. It It’s got worse and worse and worse and worse and worse. And apart from exceptions to the rule, which are becoming more and more rare as the time goes by, you’re ending up with people that are so detached and so far away from reality.

They don’t know what’s going on. And then people outside on the outside world, they get pissed off with you lot. Then everything down here, you know, you got Joe Cox, David Amos, he I mean it he was the closest to an actual proper full full command English politician uh that that there ever was over that period of time. And obviously you’ve now got threats to Robert Low, which is quite disgusting, and I’m sure various others.
But let’s continue. And you’ve heard where she lays the blame. That’s the point we pick it up from again. That threat is intimate intimately tied up with a growing tendency towards sectarian politics in some parts of our country. As my right honorable friend, the leader of the opposition said recently, “Sparatism is on the rise in our country because for too long, Britain has been complacent about our culture and too tolerant of those weaponizing identity politics for their own gain.

” >> She mentions separatism. Let’s be very clear. You hear, oh, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland spouted by certain politicians fairly regularly. You have to understand that the only reason there’s a United Kingdom and the only reason there’s a Great Britain is because of acts of union passed in 1706 1707 and later on 1800 with the uh you know bolt-on of Ireland and obviously they separated off at some point later.
But underneath all that, underneath all that political union, you have English, you have Scottish, you have Welsh, and you have Northern Irish. And separately, we’re getting itchy feet. The English are getting itchy feet. Only the other day where the SNP were were talking and everything, they were saying, “Well, we’ve had we’ve had enough of this union.
Uh we we need to do something about this.” all the individual parts of this union are starting to see that we’re having the piss taken out of our countries on on a day-by-day basis and we’ve had just about enough of it. So that’s going to fuel the separatist behavior that she’s talking about very very much so and also their inability to actually do something about any of this.
Yet in its cohesion strategy published earlier this week, this government seemed unwilling to deal with this threat head on. The strategy openly acknowledged the existence of communities in the UK living segregated or parallel lives. But rather than dealing with that problem directly, the government proposes a package which may only make this problem worse.

more DEI in the public sector, an attempt to smuggle in so-called social engineering under the guidance of social cohesion, under the guise of social cohesion, advisory boards designed to manage tensions when it was exactly this focus on managing community tensions which allowed rape and grooming gangs to operate unchecked for so long in towns and cities across our country.
>> Right. Are you hearing what I’m hearing? As soon as she starts getting into the hard truth, the meat and potatoes of this whole thing, you hear the voices. Oh, what’s she talking about? Chanta chant chant blah blah. And you’ll see very shortly there’s hardly anyone in that chamber. Yet you’ll hear in the uh descent, you know, already social cohesion is something that has failed. This is England.
This is Scotland. This is Wales. This is Northern Ireland. And what we’ve had for decades is the fact that people have entered these areas and instead of integrating, they’ve tried to bring what they are with them and expect us to follow suit. You’ve only got to see what happened in London with what was it the Ivar in in the streets.
That was a sheer and utter demonstration of dominance. We are going to do this in your capital city. And the mayor of the capital city was there as well. That’s what that was all about. Now, all of these people, and we saw this with the bloody Greens up in uh Gorton and Denton, rely on votes from a certain demographic.
So, they’re not going to want to piss them off. Meanwhile, there’s over 50 million English sitting there chomping at the bit wanting our country. It’s getting to the point, folks, where, you know, enough’s enough. and a new rebranded Islamophobia definition to be issued as guidance to public servants which will have a chilling effect on their behavior.
This will make it harder to have open public discussions about subjects like female genital mutilation, grooming and rape gangs and extremism, including any threats it may pose to our democracy. We have already seen that creating conditions in which people fear being branded as racist for keeping the public safe can create horrific outcomes.
We must never again allow guidance like this to create a culture of fear which breeds inaction, cover up or denial. The cohesion strategy is a recipe for further suppression of discussion of the threats that face us today and their root causes. We will not make the truth disappear by discouraging people from talking about it.
>> That has never worked and it will not work now. >> Thank you. >> Have a look right there. That chamber that plays out every time. There’s hardly anybody there. Now, I know there’s a a reason for it. I I was told it before, but that’s like come on. And when they talk about cohesion strategies and racism and Islamophobia and all that sort of thing, what you’re basically being instructed is you are not allowed to criticize these things because we want this to happen in this country. So you’re not going to you’re
not going to criticize. That’s not a bit of us. Unbelievable. And what’s even more unbelievable is the response that you’re about to hear from the opposite bench. Madame Deputy Speaker, Madame Deputy Speaker, I hope the shadow minister will get to her feet and correct the record because there’s a far greater threat from the far right than there is from um Islam.
And you know, in this holy month of Ramadan, I’m sure Muslims all over the country will be praying for her soul whether she deserves it or not. >> So there’s a far greater threat from the far right than you know what what she’s talking about. Th this is the same excuse you hear every time. If you criticize your far right, well, stick it.
Basically, you know what? How can you defend what what she’s just reeled off in that in that list where she’s given her speech by dismissing it as far right, praying for her soul. I’ve actually got more time for her than I have for this one. on the screen now is far right. You can’t really say anything. Yeah. You know, when you’re concerned about your community, when you’re concerned about your family, when you’re concerned about your safety, your job, your streets, your neighborhoods, you’re far right.
This is the opinion here. what’s become of us where when you have people like this in uh positions of authority uh an MP no less and you know she she’s just a prime example I’m not singling her out at all she’s a prime example of many within that place you need to remember that they are there because of the voting system in this country I think in a lot of places it’s crooked anyway but 40% at least don’t bother coming out and that needs to change otherwise this is going to go on forever more.
