The video, which mockingly endorses Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize, does so by arguing that his threats and bluster have achieved the opposite of their intent: uniting Denmark and Greenland more closely than at any point in recent history.

The clip has gained traction not simply because it is humorous, but because it lands squarely on a geopolitical fault line Trump himself opened.

A Longstanding Obsession, Reignited

Trump’s interest in Greenland is not new. During his presidency, he openly floated the idea of the United States acquiring the Arctic territory, framing it as a strategic necessity in an era of renewed great-power competition with Russia and China.
